Like every generation before them, their formative years are being influenced by a distinct set of social conditions, significant events, opportunities, and challenges. What's it like to be a student today? What do Gen Z want from university? And how are universities helping them prepare for their (and our) futures?

Food and forest, sea and sky: sustainability touches every aspect of our living world and impacts environmental, social, and economic health around the globe. Creating solutions for the future of our planet is embedded in every aspect of UBC life — from research and teaching, to campus operations and community outreach. Together, we are expanding our “green innovation” efforts to respond to the climate emergency and delivering new solutions for the future.

FORWARD, the campaign for UBC, is advancing healthy lives, creating solutions for the planet, and shaping thriving societies. Donors and alumni are the catalyst making it happen.
