Chin Choon Khor, MSc'73

Born in Kedah, Malaysia, in 1944, Chin Choon Khor graduated in 1973 with a Master of Science in Soil Science.

He met his wife Margaret in Toronto, Canada, where they married in 1976. Kids followed in quick succession: Denise, Victor, and Rose. They moved first to Calgary, Alberta, before settling in Orlando, Florida.

Chin worked as the senior director of Public Service for the city of Eustis from 1989 until his retirement in 2007.

He was a leader in the community, having served as president of the Chinese Kissimmee Association. He loved singing (and sometimes mused that he wanted to be a pop star). He loved cowboy Westerns, classical Hollywood, and kung fu films.

He leaves behind his wife and their three children, all of whom miss him dearly.
