I am a UBC history graduate department alum (2008-2010) and wanted to share news regarding my upcoming book published by Oregon State Uni Press, Punjabi Rebels of the Columbia River. It details the deep Oregon roots of the Ghadar Party’s early 1900s fight for Indian independence, the era-defining US citizenship of Bhagat Singh Thind, and the global governmental campaigns against each.
