Wilson Dargbeh, a graduate from the Master of Public Policy and Global Affairs program in the class of 2022, came to Canada from Liberia to pursue his studies here at UBC. While in our program his capstone GP2 project focused on peace, security, and the prevention of the recruitment of child soldiers.

He went on to work as a business and policy analyst, recently bringing his wife and two young children over from Liberia to join him here in Canada.

An enthusiastic and dedicated colleague, father, and friend, he fostered deep connections within his community. He will be greatly missed.
