Nicholas Smith (Nick) passed away after a short illness, complicated by Parkinson’s, in December 2024. Nick was only 71 years old. He volunteered with Beavers and youth soccer when his two sons, Logan and Shane, were active. He worked as a forestry researcher for over 35 years and loved getting out in the field. He was an avid birder. A small family service will be held by his wife, Anita, Logan, Shane, and their families. Donations can be made to Parkinson.bc.ca
