What’s the best — or worst — meal you ever made during university?
In honour of back-to-school season, we want to hear all about your cooking adventures (or misadventures) as a UBC student.
University is all about learning new ideas, meeting new people, stepping out of your comfort zone… and figuring out how to feed yourself.
Maybe you developed a knack for making the tastiest stir-fries out of whatever you had in the fridge, or discovered a bizarre but delicious combo of ingredients you still use today.
Or maybe cooking mostly felt like a chemistry experiment gone awry, and there’s one particular dish you concocted that still makes you shudder to this day…
Whether it was unexpectedly tasty or terrible, we want to hear about the most memorable meal you ever made during your university days. Share your story in the form below by October 20, 2024, and we'll feature a selection of reader responses in an upcoming article.
Tip: We’re looking for colourful details — think taste, texture, appearance, smell, and any other flavourful facts that could bring your story to life!
