Praneil Kumar Mishra – UBCO BA'09 (Economics) – 1980-2024

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Praneil “Parn” Mishra, suddenly on November 8, 2024.

He was smart and funny, with a generous heart and a deep love for his family. His friends and classmates from the UBC Okanagan Class of 2009 will remember his big smile, desire for learning, and enthusiasm for all things. While his studies were focused on business and economics, his interests were wide-ranging and included his Hindu faith, spirituality, philosophy, self-improvement, and music. He had not yet found his path in life when he was taken from us far too soon.

He is dearly missed by his mother; brother; stepfather; grandmother; many aunts, uncles, and cousins; and a wide circle of friends.
