Fernando Rodríguez was part of the very first class of Master of Public Policy & Global Affairs students who graduated in 2017. He and his classmates broke the path for future cohorts through the first iteration of our curriculum and GP2 with a financial inclusion project in India. Post-graduation, Fernando tackled senior policy and analyst roles in Mexico City and in Vancouver.

He passed away unexpectedly in March 2024, as the result of a tragic accident.

An extraordinarily kind and empathetic person who loved nature and exploring the outdoors, Fernando will be dearly missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.
