Dorothy Chang's That Bare Light is a song cycle that includes my poem "Knot" from Wavelengths of Your Song (McGill-Queen's University Press, 2013).
The premiere will take place on July 29th at the Early Music Vancouver Summer Festival.
That Bare Light is for violin, cello, zheng, and percussion and features Emma Parkinson, mezzo-soprano, with the EMV Festival Players & Sound of Dragon Ensemble. Dorothy Chang is a professor of Music at UBC.
