In collaboration with a life-long local artist, Raymond Chow, I published a souvenir book of Richmond, BC. It has an unusual format, as all the places depicted in Richmond are portrayed in artwork form (paintings and drawings), and the material is laid out as if the reader is on a tour, as I had worked as a tour guide periodically. Furthermore, because Richmond has such a high percentage of residents who are of Chinese descent, the book is bilingual. This book is the first installment in a series of souvenir books of Canadian cities, the next one to be published in the future being for the rest of Greater Vancouver. A local Richmond MLA bought a few dozen copies to bring to Ottawa to use as souvenirs from his hometown that he represents.
