Class Acts
I am pleased to say my sixteenth book is now in press and available through Amazon.ca for those who may be interested. Seeking Medicine's Moral Centre: Ethics, Bioethics, and Medical Assistance in Dying is published by the UK's Ethics Press. Uniquely, it is an anthropology of ethics in which MAiD is the fulcrum to investigate the shift — in medicine and society — from a bottom-up, relational medicine to a top-down, commercial, bureaucratic, and transaction bioethics. It thus serves in not only medical ethics but anthropology and sociology as a new attempt to consider the introduction of MAiD and its effects.
