I was a resident of Fort Camp in the school year of 1959-1960. The walls were little more than 1/4 inch plywood which meant privacy was essentially non-existent. My roommate decided to discretely view some of the frequent amorous activity in the adjacent room so he ingeniously bored a hole through the wall. To his dismay he found he’d drilled into a dress suit hanging on the other side of the plywood. It turned into a very expensive and totally non-productive caper for him and it afforded the rest of us great amusement at his expense. This was just one of many adventures in these converted military cabins.
