Following my passion for entrepreneurship and giving back to society, I recently launched my latest company, Launchstarz, with my co-founder, Satoshi. Our mission is to help Japanese entrepreneurs launch their startups in America and eventually expand in Canada as well. We have recently partnered with the Japanese government’s JETRO (Japan External Trade Organization) and METI (Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry) to roll out this new training program called Beyond Japan.

At Launchstarz, our core value is “Embrace the Uncomfortable.” This value is something we have mastered ourselves for many years and want to encourage passionate entrepreneurs to do the same. From my previous experiences of living and working 14 years in Japan and also in the US, I realized there was a significant gap for Japanese startups to truly establish themselves in the US. Therefore, my co-founder and I decided to create a vital ecosystem in North America to support Japanese entrepreneurs from “zero to launch.” By learning from our failures and taking risks, we are able to share this invaluable knowledge with all Japanese founders.

Launchstarz has established partnerships with venture capitalists, accelerators, and other educational organizations that support students in getting accepted to top business schools and master’s programs worldwide. This approach allows us to create a thriving Japanese ecosystem in America and make a large impact. If you are a venture capitalist, accelerator, or educational organization interested in collaborating with us, definitely reach out to us! We are always looking for mentors, startup founders, and entrepreneurs who want to be mentors or join our startup ecosystem. Please check out www.launchstarz.com and support us and the initiative by following our socials at Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
